Here at DJL Consultancy, we understand that many factors may contribute to our clients being unable to attend a face-to-face counselling session.
Some clients may travel interstate or overseas frequently due to work / personal commitments. Others may be unable to obtain transport, are caring for someone and unable to leave the house, or are simply busy individuals who cannot afford travelling time. Hence, we provide online and telephone counselling as a popular option for our clients.
Online counselling sessions are carried out securely via a video network such as Skype (or Viber, Whatsapp etc., that is requested by our clients).
For telephone counselling sessions, your counsellor will ring you at your designated appointment time. We do NOT charge for the phone call/s.
Online counselling sessions are almost exactly the same as face-to-face sessions, with the only difference being that the client and counsellor will see each other via a video camera. With telephone counselling sessions, both client and counsellor will only hear each other's voices, but will not be able to see each other. Your confidentiality and our duty of care remain unchanged. Our counsellors treat all online sessions as if they are face-to-face. They will carry out all online counselling sessions in the privacy of their office and will discuss treatment / therapy options with you.
