Migrant Support – for new migrants into Australia.

This program is designed to help newly-arrived migrants integrate into their local community. It focuses on educating migrants on expanding their own social network as well as develop their own coping strategies for dealing with loneliness and isolation and other common issues. Also covered are other mental health issues such as grief and loss, women’s and men’s support and domestic violence. Depending on numbers of participants, the program may also include the provision of individual ethnic group support, and English language education for adults and children.
